He’s wrong about it not being a Skyline wagon.

The RS260, sure it’s a Skyline GT-R wagon (engine, geabox, AWD system, brakes...etc)... But the regular stagea don’t share much with Skylines other than the engine from the GTS-T...

I think it runs deeper than that. Same chassis, wheelbase, hardware - the engine isn’t the point. You can put a 2.4L engine in a 180SX to make it a 240SX, but it’s still a Silvia under the skin.
The Stag is closer to a 4-door Skyline than a GT-R. But whichever engine is in it is incidental.

Maybe... I’ve had to drive a regular Stagea like in the video a bunch of time... it was boring as hell and uninteresting. Not to mention that mine was coupled with an automatic too. The R33 GT-R on the other end... THAT was nice. Which is why I’d love to try a RS260 Stagea to compare.

I knew a guy in uni with a 4 door Skyline, he said the same about it. They’re not interesting cars, they’re passenger cars. Similar to the ordinary Lancer - nothing without the Evo
